On the 20th of April 2024, I co-organised an exhibition at the Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre together with Mariem Ben M’rad. Accompanied by poet Selim-a Atallah Chettaoui, photographer Noémie Van Lierde, multidisciplinary visual artist Léna Iloo, and music group “Les Artistes Fidèles“, the cultural event took the building’s hidden connexions with Belgium’s colonial past to address questions of identity, history, and the exclusive nature of progress and modernity.
